Description
This is a lovely brochure for Janssen, the piano of individuality, where 'good homes deserve good pianos'. It was printed in New York City. Janssen was at this address in New York beginning in 1901. In 1930 they became affiliated with the Horace Waters Piano Co, so this brochure probably dates between 1901-1930. It starts out as 4.75x6.5" (pictures 1-2). It opens to 4.75x9.5" (picture 3), then to 4.75x18.5" (picture 4), and then to 13x18.5" (picture 7). It contains illustrations of their pianos with specs on size/weight. They had reproducing grands, demi grands, small grands, player pianos, foot pump players, and uprights. There are age spots along the edges and on the back, plus the paper is discolored with age. There is wear along the folds with very small splits (picture 8), but it is still intact. A great piece, especially if you have one of the pianos listed. I have an antique piano that I play and I would love to have a brochure on it!FREE FIRST CLASS SHIPPING with tracking IN THE US. Ships from my non-smoking home in the US. Thank you for looking.
