Four By One And One-Quarter Inch Plastic/Bakelite Nameplate "M.P. Moller Hagerstown, MD. U.S.A. OPUS 2561 1918". M. P. Moller was a famous pipe organ builder founded by Mathias Peter Moller , a Danish immigrant. He first started the business in 1875 in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. The business moved to Hagerstown, Maryland in 1881. Moller built the pipe organs located at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. and at St. Paul The Apostle Church in New York City as well as the Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis.
